Ayala Education conducts Transformation Training Workshop Series

The Ayala Education, headed by Derrick Latreille, its Chief Learning Officer, is conducting transformation training workshops for Deans, Assistant deans and selected faculty members of the University of Nueva Caceres. The series of workshops started last July 2016 and is expected to finish by January 2017. Among the participants from the School of Graduate Studies are AVP Nora Maniquiz, Dean Romeo Sumayo, Dean Lilly Vidal, Academic Officer Homer Diokno, research coordinator Maria Alida Mores, Professor Romeo Layones, and Professor Sandy Flores. There are two workshop series. Series A and B. Each series has three workshops. All workshops lead to the attainment of the objective that the university is prepared for the change of educational landscapes in the next decades. Series A started with a lot of explanation of the rationale behind our view of where Education is going in the next decades. Then a workshop on exploration of the planning and building of the 21st century Education transformation was conducted. Series B started last September and was facilitated by Mark Sy, the director of programs and curricula of Ayala Education. He worked with the participants to support them with the development, deployment and assessment of 21st century Transformation, leveraging on some combination of constructivists method, ESL, Employer partnership and Technology. By the end of January, The Ayala Education shall award three (3) certificates of the completion of the series of workshops.

The University of Nueva Caceres School of Graduate Studies (SGS) launched the Center for Nueva Caceres Studies (CENCAST) on Feb. 14, 2019, 1:00 PM at AMS 201. This supports one of the University Research and Creative Work Agenda- the development of cultural identity and values of Nueva Caceres as a social group towards national pride and global citizenship.
